Proforma

How is a proforma draft written?

1 min read

A proforma draft is a seller, a buyer and line amounts. The total is the sum of the lines, and the page says this is not an invoice.

Formula

Total = the sum of the line amounts. A draft is not an invoice.

The rate and the amount come from you. No tariff is locked in the code.

Representative example: draft slip

  1. The draft slip carries two lines. There is no e-invoice and no fiscal seal.
  2. The page says “Draft, not an invoice”.
  3. Printing does not make the file official.
  4. The total is the sum of the amounts you type.

Common mistakes

  • Pasting someone else’s tariff in place of the numbers you type.
  • Reading a typed rate as an official tariff. The page says the amount was entered by hand.

Questions

Does this connect to a shop?
