Net profit

How is ecommerce net profit calculated?

1 min read

Net profit is the sale minus purchase, commission, transaction fee, unit ad, shipping, packaging and a return share. Every line is typed; nothing is pulled from a marketplace.

Formula

Profit = sale − purchase − commission − transaction − unit ad − shipping − packaging − return share.

The rate and the amount come from you. No tariff is locked in the code.

Representative example: linen tote

  1. Linen tote sale 150.00 TRY. Purchase 60.00 TRY. Commission 15% = 22.50 TRY.
  2. Transaction 2.00 TRY, shipping 10.00 TRY, packaging 3.00 TRY, return share 3.00 TRY.
  3. Profit 49.50 TRY. Margin 33.00%.
  4. The food channel commission is not removed. The same percent function is used.

Common mistakes

  • Pasting someone else’s tariff in place of the numbers you type.
  • Reading a typed rate as an official tariff. The page says the amount was entered by hand.

Questions

Does this connect to a shop?
